Winter Tree Branch Design

 I took this image last year in my neighborhood.  I liked the design of the branches and wanted to give it a more silhouette perspective to see the geometric patterns of the branches.  Camera: Sony DSLR - A700, F8, 1/500 sec, ISO 200, 90 mm. 

Abstract - Downed Log & Concentric Circle

Went to Country Park, GSO, NC, yesterday with my Friend, Karen F. Looking for inspiration from trees for a photobook I want to makelater.  Found this downed log with concentric circles and wood. Camera:  Nikon P600, F 3.3,1/500 sec, ISO 100,   Hand held.  Adjusted - 2 stops for bright sun. You cannot always pick the light.  Which means I may have to revisit on a cloudy day and/or @ a different time.

Post - Processing:  Windows Media 10.  Sharpened, increased the hue & saturation.  May try more filters in photo apps to see what other abstract designs.
